Dedicated to Personal and Planetary Wholeness
POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
High Mesa Healing Center is dedicated to inspiring and facilitating Personal and Planetary Wholeness. We are honored to host events that further our goals. We promote spiritual work to balance the planet through Love, Compassion, Wisdom, Respect, Acceptance, Sharing, Gratitude, and Forgiveness.

We expect all of our guests to treat our sanctuary with love and respect.

Children are welcome and must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Pets may come with you to HMHC, especially to outdoor events or if you come to walk the labyrinth. Be aware that we have two friendly dogs, Merlin & Zuni, who have free access to the property. If you choose to leave your animals in a vented vehicle, our dogs will want to take a look and a barking conversation between your animals and ours may ensue. Please note that this could cause the disturbance of an event being held on the premises. It might be wiser to leave your animal(s) at home.

We strive to maintain a high level of integrity in the presentations, workshops, concerts, and other events held here. They may not always reflect our own personal beliefs.

Tobacco/Alcohol:
HMHC is a smoke-free, alcohol-free environment. If you are compelled to do so, you may smoke in your vehicle. There are certain seasons when the fire danger is so extremely high, that we discourage even that. If that applies, notices will be posted.

Shoes:
Traditionally, we leave our shoes at the doors of both buildings, and provide slippers for your comfort. No one will holler at you, though, if you prefer to leave yours on after wiping your feet on the mats provided.

You’ll need footwear outdoors suitable to the weather.

Liability:
HMHC will not be held liable for any injury due to your own carelessness or to the lack of supervision of children or pets.

Public Labyrinth:
Our labyrinth is available to you at any time throughout the day. We know that you will value it as a sacred tool and respect the grounds.

Rental of Space for Workshops/Presentations, etc: Our Yurt may be rented for the use of your group for both public and private functions and can accommodate up to 40 people.

High Mesa Healing Center is a space for spiritual work of various kinds and for celebrations & remembrances of your special days, such as weddings, commitments, or memorials. We do not require that your beliefs match our own. We do require that your intention be for the Greatest Good for all involved.

Our basic rate is $100 per day for private functions.

This fee includes the use of the kitchen in the Center for pot-lucks or snacks, provided by you. You will be responsible for general clean-up following your event, leaving our facilities as you found them.

Our rate for public for-fee functions is $100 per day PLUS 20% of your receipts.

This fee includes the use of the kitchen in the Center for pot-lucks or snacks, provided by you. You will be responsible for general clean-up following your event, leaving our facilities as you found them.

We will help support your event with notification to our email list, and posting on our blog & calendar as a part of our rental agreement at no extra charge, as long as you supply the text and other pertinent data in a timely fashion. Flyers, brochures or other print material, and its distribution, can be provided at additional costs to you. Please inquire.

In the case of public functions (workshops, seminars, etc.), approval of your materials must be obtained as a part of your application process. This can be as simple as providing us with copies of materials, or web locations where such information can be found. We also rely on our own processes of meditation, dowsing, & similar methods to determine if you and we are a natural fit.

Practitioner Space:
Healers, readers, massage therapists, etc. may reserve space in the main Center building at HMHC to see their own private clients and will pay to HMHC 20% of your fees/charges for services. This may be on an ongoing basis or as a one-time event. These spaces are yours for the time you are present, and will be used by others when you are not working there.

Our main building includes two treatment rooms, the shop, a full bathroom, and a kitchen. You will be responsible for general clean-up of the space you use, leaving our facilities as you found them.

Since these arrangements are unique to each person, contact the Center for more information or for any special needs.

Overnight lodging:
High Mesa Healing Center is not a lodging facility. However, it may be possible to camp on our property for special occasions and with prior arrangements. Please contact the center for more information.

We will be happy to recommend nearby lodging to workshop/retreat participants or leaders at your request. Please inquire.

HMHC is very interested in furthering the spiritual development of those who are drawn to us. Adjustments to these terms are possible by talking with Barbara Mader at 575-336-7777 about your particular needs.
